Editing of FX effects upon the audio tracks

I just figured out, that there is no possibility in Sonar to edit the Wave FX effect added to the audio tracks. I used to use this option in Adobe with the right mouse click and it was very handy to edit the effect.Now, when I select say EKramer VC Stereo, add it on the track and then want to change..

Midi track grayed out, cannot move, edit, nothing

As the title says, won't let me do a thing to it. This is after I have been editing it for awhile. (Session drummer) I closed and opened again, no dice... The clip is not muted, I checked that already...

Editing audio in Sonar

Well, I have just figured out that Sonar has less audio editing capacities, that say Adobe Audition. For example, there is no Audio View in it and I can not make a selected piece of audio less in volume as in Adobe (or apply the Option "Smooth Vocals", which is one of my favorites). 2017.04: moving velocity bars → stuck notes

In the PRV, when I adjust note's velocity in the CC/velocity pane I can hear the note, which is ok, but when I release the mouse, the note is still sounding. Seams like there is no Note Off, and only panic button can stop it...
