Can I change track colurs and make them "stick"?

Having got into a protracted argy-bargy with support, I still cannot work out how to set track colours, such as Audio tracks are red, MIDI tracks are....blue etc, every time I open or start a project. Is there a way? I swear I used to use Preferences, Customise, Colours. Is it different now? Thanks ..

Can a Kontakt instrument's MIDI trigger another Kontakt instrument's samples?

Love the fingerpicking of Realitone's Fingerpick vsti in Kontakt. But I have Orange Tree Samples' Evolution Steel Strings, and I'd like to get Fingerpick's MIDI patterns to play OT's sounds. Using SI Drums in Session Drummer

I have tried loading SI Drums wavs into Session Drummer 3, but all I get is a horrible screeching noise. Other wavs play OK. I can even load up a whole song to play at the beat of the drum. (NB, if anyone tries this, do NOT keep firing the tune... DAMHIKT) Is this a proprietary thing? Thanks for any..

[Solved] Keep clips as clips, not bouncing to one big one

HiI've chopped up a vocal take and edited out all the silence (and mumbling and grunting..) and have edited each clip nicely with fade-ins and outs. I'd now like to render each of the clips, but would prefer to keep them as they are individually in the track rather than bouncing them down to one big..
