Are Simple Instrument Tracks ONLY For Softsynths?

I was hoping to make a simple instrument track for a hardware synth, but I feel its not possible. Is this true? Thank You!..

Removing cakewalk completely??

Is there any way to completely remove cakewalk and reinstall without it remembering your old setting..I just upgraded and its messing with my plugins.....

Using the Roland Integra-7 with Sonar Platinum

I cannot figure out how to assign Integra-7 instruments to a particular track within SONAR (I use Platinum, but the same issue arises in all recent versions of SONAR). All the Instrument Definition provided by Roland lets you do is assign a "Set" to a track, but there doesn't seem to be a way to ass..

Behringer X-Touch MIA since updating to this month's SPLAT.

I have gone back to preferences and made sure the X-touch is assigned to the right ins outs. I cannot get it to respond. I have rebooted. I rebooted then power cycled X Touch. I Power cycled X touch, then rebooted. Opened old projects where it was working. Opened new projects. NADA. No faders moving..

Pro-channel Preset question

I have particular presets for groups vocals and instruments. They have several projects and as I go through the process I make changes to those presets. My thought was that if I opened a previous project it would open up the most current corresponding Pro-Channel preset.This is apparently not true. ..

messed up my track view

Help please....Somehow i hit a hot key that has hidden all the info about my tracks except midi in and midi out. It used to show Midi channnel, bank, patch, transpose, pan, etc. What did i do and how can i undo it? Thanks in advance!..

Addictive keys missing

I have 2 computers with Sonar installed. One is a work PC and the other is strictly studio. I installed Addictive Keys last night on my work computer, no problems. Works like a champ.
