Can the default install path for Sonar be changed?to say: 'C:/program files/CakeSPlat' Or,is 'C:/program files/cakewalk/platinum' baked in? So, there would be no "Cakewalk" in the header. UWP MIDI disables X-Touch and Tranzport Control Surfaces

The new 2017-03 update features notes new Windows API MIDI standard and to change the MIDI driver mode to UWP (from MME in my case). However doing that removes my X-Touch and Frontier Tranzport control surfaces. Changing back to MME restores my control surfaces. Is there something else I need to do,..

I'm very new to using a DAW. I know many VST Plugins allow multiple outputs, assigning different instruments to different tracks, but I cannot figure out how to do this in Home Studio.
