Midi time stretching

I'm using Sonar Platinum, updated to 23.2.0.45. After watching the Cake TV episode on "Midi Enhancement", I've tried "Midi Time Stretching" using a .mid clip from the SONAR Midi Library with Addictive Drums 2 soft synth. Roland R-Mix with Sonar Platinum

Hi, I'm trying to use R-Mix in Sonar Platinum and when launching this plug-in I see the message "This Plugin is only licenses to be used in Cakewalk SONAR X2 and above." Is the R-Mix license no longer valid for Sonar Platinum? If so, can you suggest an alternative VST plug-in with similar features? ..

Update to Windows 10

PRV note colors

Is there a way to change the color behavior of tracks in PRV? I don't really understand how that works. Some tracks show white notes when they aren't selected, others show a color. Console emulator's "VU" meters... can we actually use those?

Hello guys. I'm wondering if we can use the "VU" meters in the console emulator's pro channel module. I did some quick tests using tone generators, and it seems to me that these are using the DBFS scale... (tone gen at -6 DBFS hits -6 in the emulators' VU...) So I guess these are not really vu meter..

ProTools fail - Sonar succeed

So, some of my sessions are beginning to require PT (sessions already created in PT). I still can't believe how klunky that App still is. Talk about some old, heavy code! No bashing intended, just disappointed in the undustry's profuse "blind leading the blind" methodology. Dude, there's better ways..

What's the benefit of recording in Comping mode over SoS?

I fail to see any benefit of setting the recording mode to Comping. It actually makes things worse as it splits all the take lanes on stop when recording in a loop.Sound on sound doesn't do that making removing the last take as easy as removing the top take lane, without splitting the others.Am I mi..
