Insane problems with this update (2016.12) *** Solved (for ME!)

So far I've only installed it on my laptop. I've now rolled back to the October release Symptoms last night: Plugin Manager stalling during a Rescan (Yes I did a reset). What's Happening about Sonar for Mac?

Cakewalk seem to have gone all quite about their Sonar for Mac, announced last year when they trumpeted that a beta version was scheduled for Autumn 2016. It's now edging towards Spring 2017 and not a word as far as I can determine. Even Google searches for "Sonar for Mac" which lead to the Cakewalk..

Automate UAD tape pluggins in the latest version of SONAR

Anyone know how I can do this? I want to have my UAD tape plugins show the tape turning. I set the plugin's property to be "tempo based" ,however that didn't do it. When I press play or record with the pluggin in view....the tape starts to turn for a split second and then stops. I'm using the Ampex ..
