Sonar X3 suddenly died... Help!! (solved)

5 days ago Sonar worked fine, now it doesn't work at all. New projects don't finish loading, i.e., all tracks stay "busy" and audio never finishes loading. Older projects play but with no audio...

Midi. Recording usb midi keyboard appears 'ahead' of actual time.

Sonar platinum, 64 windows 7. Alesis Q25 USB.I'm trying to record midi with the Alesis Q25 and the notes appear to be recording 1/32 or so ahead of the beat. Pretty consistent and repeatable with quantize on or off. I'm no drummer, but my timing isn;t that bad!..

weirdness with pro channel in SONAR X3

Something odd has happened to my workflow all of sudden. in the Console view, whenever I go to the ProChannel area and click the tiny file folder to load one of their presets...the "Guitar" one is messed up. All the others work perfectly, as they should, and, the "guitar" preset was working at least..

Synth Rack Control knobs not saving in groups

I'm finding it very frustrating having to re-assign all the control knobs I have set in my synth rack to the groups and remote controls every time I open my project. Is there something I'm missing to set so this doesn't happen? Or is that just a parameter not saved when I save my project?..

Can't get imported wav file to play in Cakewalk Pro Audio 9

Yes, I know, it's antique software, but it sure has served me well for the past 16+ years. Now I've begun using Band-In-A-Box 2017, and I can generate RealTracks wav files (as opposed to the MIDI files I had been generating in a much older BIAB) which I am using for writing melodies and arrangements..
