Bit Depth Rate question

When I export a project to a wave file I always pick 16 - that is the rate to use to match a CD, right? Seems I recall reading that in the Sonar documentation somewhere. Why would you use a different rate? Is there some advantage I am missing? Just curious. It's been 11 months since I converted ..

[SOLVED] drag LONG clips to timeline to extract tempo map not working in 2016.12 @ 96 kHz

Just tried it twice, each time with a lengthy clip (well, two piano ballads that were major hits) ... but when I drag the clip to the timeline, Sonar gets stuck at 1% progress, uses 1 CPU, keeps reading from disk (according to win10 PM) but never returns nor increases progress ... had to kill it aft..

How do I generate audio from MIDI?

With vst plugs you select source and instrument and bounce to tracks, but in this case I have an external hardware keyboard so there isn't a vst instrument to select. How is it done? Thanks - rev..

Automation goes away after sonar crashes

It is a new issue I have recently experienced with Sonar Platinum. Whenever sonar crashes during mixing, some of the tracks loose their auto mix. Mostly it happens for the Pans and Sends. All these auto mixes disappear.Is there anybody here has this issue with sonar?..

TH3 crashing session

When switching the interleave from stereo to mono on a track with a TH3 instance, it crashes my session and I have to close Sonar. Anyone else having this issue??..

newbie. How do I compile a track that is broken into segments?

I want to open these files into a MAC with pro-tools. Tracks contain clips. How do i marry the clips into a continous track so they will be lined up when it's opened in the MAC? Does clip-lock do this? (position or data) if so will we be able to manipulate the track in protools?..
