Benefits Of Using Drum Maps

I am getting the metronome click sound coming through

I am getting a very slight metronome sound coming through on my guitar track. I am using the Sonar X3 built in metronome. It is the same volume whether my volume is up high or low on my metornome. I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Anyone else had this problem? Thanks, Sharky..

It seems like Command Center don't know how to continue from an interrupted download because every time it tries to install the update it causes the install to fail because it was corrupted. ..

Regarding Home Studio and usb mic level

So, my wife got the new Cakewalk Home Studio and she is using a usb (Samson) mic. I have zero experience with either. 1. When recording a stereo track the two channels are not even level wise. Possible to record MIDI one-shots with Addictive Drums 2?

Is it possible to record just a one-hit (say, a cymbal crash) in MIDI in AD2? I see I can record a .wav easily in the GUI, and I know you can drag/drop MIDI clips onto a MIDI track, but how about just a one-shot of a drum piece? Thanks for any help...
