Removing Measures

Hello Again, Having a heck of a time with X3. So I put a 2/4 measure at measure 1, I put a 4/4 measure at measure 2. I do this so I can get into the tune quicker and the DAW has time to trigger the midi correctly. However as you probably know its going to move the song for starting 3.1.000 to 3.3.00..
