Need Help with my Hardware MIDI Keyboard

I bought me Music Creator 7 a while ago, but i had not figured out why my USB MIDI Keyboard (M-Audio Oxygen49 4th Gen) spits only the signal but no sound out. And i dont know how to import VST files. Where's the speaker icon in staff view in MC7?

In an older version I was able to click an available speaker icon during playback to replace the edit pen in staff view and drag it across the notes with the mouse to hear them. Good for touching up and transcribing. Is there a new way to do this in MC7?..

plugin question

when i open a project (i only have one, i'm new.) a dialoque box opens up and says there is a plugin that, i think is in the wrong place. i'm sorry to be so vauge, but i just usually hit ok a couple of times and it's gone. this also happens in mc7. any suggestions?..

In it they suggest that I record using 24 bit, but my audio interface (alesis multimix x 4) will only record in 16 bit. Import specific tracks from a bundled project file into my current project file.
