crash when i add fx to one part of track

when i try to add an fx to one part of the audio track( i do this by splitting the track and dragging an fax to that part.)in particular, i was using camel phat and twice the program stopped responding and i had to force close it. anybody else having this problem? i'm on windows 7 pro with 16 g ram ..

Channel EQ Not Easy to Use
