Okay, so I have been using MC4 and MC5 for years now, but as I get more involved in recording projects, the limit on number of audio effect, tracks, etc as compared to Sonar is becoming a problem. I just saw that we now have X3, which apparently is a $49 download for any registered Cakewalk customer..

ASIO panel sya soundcard "not available"

When I call up the ASIO4all offline settings from my Start pane on my Windows 8, it say that the "Realtek HD Audio output" from the sound card on my Gateway desktop is available. When I start up Music Creator 6, go to Preferences > Devices and push the ASIO Panel button, now it says it's unavailable..

sfx+ "not enough memory" to load soundfont file

I just downloaded sfx+, and now when I try to load my own SoundFont file with about 30 presets, I get an alert window saying there is not enough memory. Memory where? I have 4GB of RAM on my box. I cant find anything on the GUI that looks like it might lead to changing the memory size for the progra..
