MIDI Issues

Hi All, Sometimes when using my MIDI keyboard, one of two things will happen. Sometimes the signal seems to just drop. After 5 or 10 seconds, it come back. OR Sometimes a note will stick. I have to reset MIDI and restart the audio processor to fix it. Any ideas as to what's going on? Thanks Tom..

Where is the Step Sequencer in Music Creator 6 Touch

Hi Everyone, I just upgraded to Music Creator 6 Touch because of the step sequencer. I can't find it anywhere in the software, don't see any tutorials on where to access it or how to use it. Can someone help point me in the right direction? I want to start creating my own drum loops. Thanks! Michael..

Problems with recording in music creator 5 and keyboard

MC4 no sound for windows 8

I have a windows 8 laptop and trying to use MC4 on it (x64) problem is that I don't get any sound. I tried changing the advance driver mode to MME (32-bit) which sets all the profile tests to OK but still no sound...

Snap to problems

From what I can tell, This function doesn't work well on any of the Cakewalks it's been put into. But now it's in my way, and I need a workaround. I've set the Magnet to off, the Snap to Snap to in Musical time, All nudges have been aligned to "follow snap". The light is blue, and when I right click..

Recording microphone into cakewalk

Hi - have my stereomike plugged into the internal soundcard, signal goes through to extenal speakers, but cakewalk won´t recognize it. In preferences the right soundcard shows, but it does not come up in the dropdown menu of inputs(when track is armed). My other soundcard(RME)with opt/coax in/outs ..

Change volume of one note in drumtrack.

Hello all, Can someone please help by telling me how I can change the volume of one note in a drumtrack in MC 5? For example: I have a MIDI file that sounds good but the B2 note (bassdrum) in the drumtrack sounds to loud or to quiet in the whole track? Is there a way to select only all the B2 notes ..

Music Creator 6 and soft syths

I've checked the support docs and couldn't find the answer. Are you limited to only 8 instances of Dim Pro (or any other soft synth) in Music Creator 6? I don't recall any such limitations in Project5. Am I doing something wrong in MC6(Touch 8-64). I have 6Gb of RAM installed. TIA,..

Midi to Audio

I am using Creator 6 and trying to convert some midi files to audio (wav or mp3, don't care which). I can open the midi and play it back (with sound) in the app, but when I go to the export function everything is grayed out. Does anyone have some basic steps for this?
