File security - Passwords??

I've had a pretty good look and can't find this covered anywhere else - (recently at least).Just wondering if there is way of file protecting Cakewalk files with password security. How can I paste a masking clip over another clip?

Hello forum, I've been trying to paste room tone over gaps in my audio, but when I do, the underlying clip is still audible. I don't want dead silence as that is too much of a drop to the ears.
