Midi Help

I am new at this and have just purchased Music Creator 6. I am having issues with midi files. I can open and play midi files individually (by opening .mid file type), but if I import them into a Cakewalk project I cant hear them (can hear other non-midi tracks). Things are well..

So far, everything is fine with my MC6. I am still learning how it works. Dragging sounds over, seeing what different combos sound like etc. I got the midi (Axiom 25) hooked up and running. I think it took about 30 min, I was expecting a ordeal. lol. The midi sounds like the vol has been turned down..

I just got an alesis multimix 12 firewire and I'm trying to set up multitrack recording using music creator 3. I can only get two drivers to work at a time, is this sftware capable of multitrack firewire recordings with the eight inputs available. Thanks for your help, Mark..

Long standing irritation with midi clips...

I've been using CW DAW's for awhile. Honestly, I only use Sonar on occasion & have used MC to the same extent, because I find having to bounce down midi clips very annoying. Most DAW's record or have the option to record midi in the same clip as merged data. Unless I've missed something all this tim..

well i bought myself a lexicon alpha. apparently it would be good to record the electronic keyboard into the computer without scratchiness. i plugged it in i can hear the sounds i want to hear through the headphone (actually i put computer speakers). there's something wrong with the Cubase LE 4 CD-R..

how to have inconsitent vocals at the same volume?

Hello My vocalist recorded my new song in two sessions on MC5 through a Samson Q7 mic. Now i realise the volumes of the individual sections are not consistent accross the song. Is there a way i can get the singers voice at much the same level throughout the song without altering each segment manuall..

Bit Rate?

Upgraded to MC6 from MC4. Having issues with bit rate (maybe) on export. I bounce tracks, the export as wav. Selecting "CD Quality" which presets at 44.1k/16. Can open and play this wav file in Windows Media Player. However, trying to burn to CD and get an error that it i not a valid file type. Noti..
