OSX Lion and/or Mountain Lion Drivers (Resolved!! - Sort of)

So, I bought my VS 700 C with the understanding that it would work on my Mac, and it did...under Snow Leopard. We're now 2 OS upgrades out of commission. I boxed up my VS 700C and let it sit. Using the VS-700-R as Pre-Amps

I am under the assumption that one can connect the output of the VS-700R via ADAT to an interface, is this true? I hooked up my unit via TOSLINK and Word Clock cable to my RME UFX; the lights on the RME are on but I'm not getting any sound from the VS-700R. What did I miss? Is there some kind of dip..
