Trun Off Metronome - Save Settings

I can turn off the metronome (why it's defaulted as ON, I don't understand) then I save the file, close and re-open and the metronome is back again. Also the channel settings are back to Pro1 which has me baffled. I've tried deleting the pro1 settings, it comes back. I've tried saving as, it doesn't..

MIDI file playback

I know this has been the subject of older posts, but does the latest GTP4 support playback of external (ie downloaded) MIDI files? The documentation seems to suggest it does but I have been unable to get it to work. My sound card (M-Audio Delta Audiophile)appears to be set up correctly and will play..

Adding reverb to a snare drum .wav

I wanted to add reverb to just the snare to get a W.A.S.P. type sound. I think it was Smart Loops (could be wrong) that had a tutorial on how to do this. Are there easier ways? Hi. Is it possible to create your own drum patterns (likewise bass) on the version of guitar tracks shipped with the v-studio 20? I have no interest in using pre-made loops, but would like to make my own drum and bass parts. Thanks Tom..
