Unable to record drums

I have just installed GP4 (win 7) and am used to using GP 2 I followed the built in help screens and recorded a guitar track although it crackles all the way through - very annoying The guitar recording source is from the line out of a marshall amp. The problem is not the amp, leads or guitar Also ..

cakewalk dosent see all four tascam inputs

hi all...i really hope u can help....Im using cakewalk9, m-audio delta 44, and a via envy pt24 soundcard...have had no problems recording but wanted more inputs so i bought a tascam us600 usb interface,,,,cakewalk sees it but will not give me 4 independent inputs it only sees tascamleft, tascamright..
