New question about midi out

I bought a new synth/keyboard (Yamaha MM6) to use as an outboard sound module. In Sonar I can change the banks and patches with the software. Is there a way to do this in P5v2 ? I can set the instrument and channel with the hardware controls, but I don't seem to be able to find a way to do inside of..

Using a DLL export veiwer and scanning the SONARPDR, I can see my DLL loaded and it's exported function. The question ..

Is there any single thing that has stayed exactly the same throughout the evolution of Sonar from XL to X1? Perhaps a registry key like "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CakewalkProjectFile"? Guitar Tracks Pro On Win7 64bit

Is there an issue with guitar track 64 bit and 64 bit pluggins? Have tried a 32 and 64 version of the same plug and it does not seem to register. Had the same problem with Guitar rig only the 32 bit version shows up. Any ideas? Thanks...
