Loud pops from Focusrite 2i4 on PC start up. Is this normal ?

I use a Focusrite 2i4 and when I start up ( and shut down ) my PC I get some very loud pops through my M-Audio BX5 monitors. Does anyone else get this and is it normal. The tech team at Focusrite just tell me to turn the monitors on last ( and off first ), which I know is technically the right thing..

Seaboard Rise with Omnisphere

Anyone know how useful one of those Seaboard Rise keyboards would be with Omnisphere? And would it be more complicated to setup than a traditional keyboard? I'd love to play with one one of these days and it seems like Omnisphere would be the perfect synth for it...

Getting back into SONAR, best interface?

I recently upgraded my PC, and am looking forward to doing some recording after some years. I was disappointed to fin I can't install my MOTU interface, the card won't fit in my new PC. It looks as though I need to go with USB. My new PC has a bunch of USB 3.0 ports, but no firewire or thunderbolt. ..
