Any Recommendations For A New Audio Interface?

Hello Everyone, My Scarlett 2i2 interface died and need a new interface. The Scarlett 2i2 was buggy as hell even though Amazon reviews generally tend to be positive for the most part. Anybody Using Frontier TranzPort with SONAR and Windows 8?

Frontier Design no longer sells the TranzPort and hasn't updated drivers since Windows 7. Is it safe to assume the TranzPort won't run on Windows 8? I need a new PC, but would hate to give up my TranzPort. Should I get Windows 7 on the new PC while I still can?..

Micro USB sucks.

Another flawed design. Most cables are heavy and it's the female jack that gives out. I will not buy any audio hardware that uses it. My IK iRig keys will no only work on an iPad.Google is full of problematic devices due to micro USB. More engineering stupidity...

Focusrite Scarlett Series Volume Knob Intermittent Cut Out

I found an ebay deal on a Scarlett 18i8 but the volume control needs to be pushed in a tad for both channels to work properly. The left channel is the culprit. I emailed the fellow I bought it from( an ebay store) to see if he minded me looking inside for something obvious, but am awaiting his reply..
