USB 3 with Octa Capture

Hey Guys, I know that the Octa Capture has issues with USB 3, I'm wondering if this is across the board. Does it matter what controller you have, if it's mac or windows based? If anyone knows I'd really appreciate some input, thanks!..

Can I ask? Those using TASCAM US series (I'm using US-1200)

These are USB 2.0 and have ASIO, but they only have choices for *LOWEST LATENCY, LOW LATENCY, NORMAL LATENCY, HIGH LATENCY, HIGHEST LATENCY* . S/PDIF Uses

I've never used the S/PDIF interfaces on any of my devices - which probably means I haven't needed them - but I'm curious... Besides sending/receiving audio info to and from your daw, how have you used S/PDIF in your setup? Maybe there's sone cool tricks or uses I'm missing!..
