RESOLVED Can't choose MIDI devices on Tascam us1641 with latest driver.

I just installed the recently released driver for my Tascam us1641 I/O, on my 4790k studio PC and it is not showing up in SPLAT as an option MIDI devices nor for MIDI outputs. Audio plays, though I haven't recorded anything on it yet.I am stumped! Anyone? Thanks in advance.Michael PS I had disabled ..

Basically wanting to upgrade to a new computer/Audio interface . (Sonar Platinum)

I think for me the best help would be to know what people are using that works best for them with the least amount of issues for recording audio, soft synths. Mixing down like 20 to 30 tracks with native plugins. I'm more interested in off the shelf systems more then custom built systems.Brand/model..

My possible budget AMD upgrade for part time DAW. There will be a hurdle.

Scarletti 212 won't show up as 24 bit

I just picked up a focusrite 212 to use with my laptop. A Dell inspiron with an i3 2370M cpu @ 240ghz 4 gig ram windows 8.1. I just installed platinum on it and installed the newest focusrite drivers. No matter what I do I can not get sonar to run in 24 bit. In edit/preferences I have (sonar) it set..

Microphone suggestions for Vocals and Acoustic Guitar in the $500 or less category?

I may try to obtain one more microphone to see if I can get an even more optimal sound. I'd like to see what folks recommend. I have a vocal booth, so I'm not worried about ambient sound bleed. Whatever you have that seems to really get it right I'd like to hear about it...

VS-700C & Yosemite 10.10

Is anyone seeing any love for the above combo? I have installed and reinstalled correct drivers - dip switches correct - and I can see the device in the USB tree under system report. Device is working fine on windows so I'm bringing it back to the driver. Latest firmware 1.31 and all operation tests..

Firmware updated to 2.6. New amp models available (at a cost) and new global EQ. Us 300/400 users need to be patient but will be treated to a similar upgrade shortly...
