Scarlett - ASIO is TOO LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For some reason, whenever I run Sonar, the Scarlett 2i4 is incredibly loud, ignoring the volume control in Windows (which I have set pretty low). I presume this is because ASIO ignores Window's volume control settings. Is there a way to "fix" this, to get ASIO to go obey the Windows volume setting, ..

Can anyone honestly hear the difference between two decent DA converters?

I was talking to a top engineer friend of mine and we were discussing the merits of spending $2000 on a stereo DA converter versus running straight out of a good desk such as a Yamaha digital console (he has a DM2000, I use an 01V96 V2 as a router/patchbay/monitor system). BCR2000 & Windows 10?

Thinking about getting a BCR2000 for control of X3 (running on Windows 10).Anyone had success and/or issues with drivers and W10?Hoping to use AZ Controller with it - if there driver issues, will AZ still work if I connect the BCR via Midi to a imp USB-Midi interface? Thanks..

Is there any Audient iD22 users here?

I am thinking of buying this card, and wonder how the drivers are. If you get good latency in Sonar. No artifacts in the sound or noise. I have a Motu Ultralite mk3 now. And the drivers are too buggy for me, dont think they will make any new soon. Is it really a upgrade sound wise?..

Hi all, I wonder if anyone can recommend a decent pair of speakers please?The ones I'm using are cheapies and headphones in the hot weather is tiresome BUT flitting between the two is playing havoc with my levels - anyway its time I invested in a good pair. thanks in advance..

Project: Lynx L22 PCI, VSTi Host Machine?
