Melodyne question

I recently comped a vocal track and I'm curious on how the best method to apply Melodyne. Should I transfer the entire track into Melodyne for pitch correction and tuning and then double the corrected track? Or....double the track and correct both separately? Can you bypass Sonar 'Plugin Latency Compensation' ?

On a mix project with say 10 tracks, just 1 track with a synth pad needs a latency applying VST like fe Perfect Space...or a Limiter fe.I would prefer all other tracks without latency allignment and just have the latency on the synth pad.Just wondering if by perhaps inserting a plugin into clip, byp..

keyswitches in platinum

If I use keyswitches in step recording, the keyswitch shows up as a time value. If I use keyswitches in staff notation, only the last keyswitch i entered is played, for all notes, even previously entered. Trying to get all those different artics in an EW Irish low whistle.
