M-Audio 2496 mixer on Win7

Hey there,
I'd love to find a "how to route things" pictorial on the M-Audio mixer panel for Win7 or newer.
I never could wrap my head around the old XP one ( when I had one) and a friend has one on Win 7 and we can't get a signal from input (microphone) to output speakers.

We've got VU level bouncing for input, and are able to record into Band in a Box, but would love to be able to monitor through the card, i.e. 'hear' the microphone signal through the speakers.
