M-Audio Fast Track 2 Or Tascam US-122MKll

Loooking for a 2nd audio interface to run some software on my laptop and it has come down to these two. I will use it for recording my electric guitar and to play live using guitar modelling software. Any thoughts on these two?? I kinda like the midi on the Tascam as I can run a midi pedal board with it.
I've not heard anything bad about either but would like to here from a few users.

after helping people for a few years on these forums, I have found that tascams products are hit and miss when it comes to the drivers.  and if the drivers aren't solid then the product isn't solid.

having said that, I do admit that the mkII has been much better than its predecessor.  the original us-122 and its drivers were crap IMO.  the mkII seems to be better.

if it were me personally choosing between the two, however, I'd go with the m-audio.  m-audio typically has solid drivers.

I would go with the M-Audio, the driver support will be better.  MIDI is easy, many midi devices already have a MIDI interface built in so you just connect USB to the computer.   If you need MIDI just get a USB MIDI interface. The drivers are not connected with the audio I/O anyway even if they "appear" to install at the same time and be housed in the same box they are not related to the audio driver.
