M-Audio Projectmix I/O any good news?

Hello,
I saw the forum posts because projectmix and it don't do scripts and have less funcionality than Tascam FW-1884.

Can anyone tell me how this thing works as a controller in Sonar?

Is a good investment as a daw surface controller with my RME HDSP9632 or is better Tascam to do the job?

    it works in the same manner as a 002 w/ pages of parametrers that can be tweaked as well as midi assignment of all buttons, 8 preamps @ line or mic level and all w/ phantom power if needed. pretty cool i have one and it has increased productivity and fun.
