M-Audio Trigger Finger won't work with Learn Mode

I have the old Trigger Finger (Not Pro), and I'm trying to get it to work in Learn Mode for Z3ta. I can tell the Trigger Finger is communicating, and I can even get the pads to work with z3ta's presets. However, learn mode doesn't seem to work with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Edit: Also, I've just now started using Sonar. About 2-3 years ago I was using Logic Pro.
