M-Audio UNO and Sonar

I'm fairly new to Sonar 7 and i have been trying to use my Alesis QS6.2 Synth as a controller through Sonar and i have the Uno USB/MIDI connector and i am experiencing bad delay when playing. Can anyone offer tips to help me resolve this. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

    read that, and post back more info about the mode your using etc.

    when you say delay your on about midi to audio delay? so posting other info about what the buffer / latency is MS is.

    If your pc and sound card is up to it, all you need to do it lower your latency to under 5ms or so. There are also global midi buffers also in the global folder as well. There are 2 places to ajust..Options/audio and Options/Global/Midi. ..The lower the better
