MBox 3 ASIO driver not working in Sonar 8 Producer

MBox 3 ASIO driver not working in Sonar 8 Producer

I just installed the latest driver package (1.0.19) for the MBox and when I try to run in sonar 8 with ASIO driver mode it says there are no 'audio devices' for this driver model. WDM, MME etc. drivers show up in the audio options- drivers taband I can select these modes but I want to use ASIO (dont I). Can anyone suggest how I can get the drivers to 'appear' so i can select them in the audio options checkbox. The website,back of box, other sorces says ASIO drivers are now fully copatible with sonar and other programs so i am wondering what I am missing to get this to work?

    If you installed the drivers, first check that the device shows in you control panel under audio and sound. Do you hear playback from Windows Media Player through the M Box? Under Audio Options General: Check that the M box is the timing master Advanced: CHeck ASIO for driver mode Notice the ASIO panel? you can access the M Box control pane to make settings for sample rate and latency there. Drivers: Does the M box show? Check all the boxes that say M box for both in and out. make sure any other devices are NOT Checked. Sonar will ask to be re booted if you changed Mode.
