MC5 WAV export problem. Help Please.

Hi,

I have recorded 2 audio tracks of different lengt in MC5 and all is OK.
Audio track 1 is 3 minutes long and audio track 2 is 10 minutes long.

These audio tracks are from a speech with 2 different speakers and have nothing to do with each other.
They are only recorded in the same project but in different tracks. That's all.

Now I wan't to export the 2 audio tracks as 2 seperate wav file. One wav file should be 3 minutes and the
other should be 10 minutes. And here is where the problems arises.

When I export audio track number 2, that is 10 minutes long, the resulting wav file is 10 minutes and is OK.
When I export audio track number 1, that is 3 minutes long, the resulting wav file is also 10 minutes but only
the first 3 minutes contains audio. The other 7 minutes I hear only silence.
I have tried everything but with no luck.

So my question is: how can I export the audio tracks so that every wav file is as long as they really are?
The 3 minutes wav file, from aufio track 1, should be 3 minutes long and not 10 minutes.

The 10 minutes wave file is OK.

I hope I made myself clear in describing my problem.
Thanks in advance for all the help.

Good luck,

Salleke.

You select the portion for export in the time line above the tracks (as well as the track to be exported.

You can do that or you can get WAVEPAD and use the "trim ending" function to cut off the silence.

    Wavepad is free.

Or always open a new file for separate projects. Come on guys where is Captain Obvious when you need him, and his faithful sidekick Beaglelouni!

I'd Seize the day but i can't quite reach it!
