Someone commented on this in another thread.
Generally, you want to let the programs install to their default locations. If you install a VST or FX and it doesn't install into the cake VST folder, always pay attention to the location where it wants to install. Most programs will ask where you want if IF the default location is not where you want it.
In cases like this, I will minimize the install window, go to my VST folder in Cakewalk and create one. Then I'll reopen the install window and tell it to install in my custom folder IN CAKEWALK/VST (or plugins)
Then, I simply open MC, and go to the cakewalk plug in manager and add that new folder to it's scan list and run the scan manually.
