MC6 with AKAI EIE pro

I´m having a problem with my eie pro. It´s a four in four out usb sound card, but in MC 6 i only get a two in two out. I have tried re installing the drivers, switching between asio and others, i have tried contacting AKAI, without any luck.
Anyone got any idea ? What am i missing.

    yes.... no matter what the card will do, Music Creator will only accept 2 live inputs at a time.
     
    The fix is to cross grade to the Sonar 3 series  (bottom line or higher)... as they all permit as many inputs as your sound card allows.

    Now that makes sense in a bit of a sad way.
     
    An apologie to an AKAI technician is in order by now.
