MC7 Step Sequencer is dropping random beats...

I just installed MC7 and I am having a problem with the Step Sequencer. When I create a drum pattern with the SI Drum Kit, the sequencer will drop beats at random. If I drag the pattern out to repeat it, it doesn't always drop the same beat on each repetition. I am running windows 10 64 bit on a 4 year old laptop with an M-Audio M-Track mkII for input and playback. The system resources aren't even close to being pegged...running about 20% on CPU and 50% on memory during playback. Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting would be welcome. Thanks!

Try increasing the "Prepare Using nnn Millisecond Buffers" value from 250 to 500 or 750 in Preferences > MIDI > Playback and Recording

Snap to grid was set. Looks like the buffer suggestion did the trick. Thanks for the help!
