James - The drums sounds great. Come back ASAP and let us know everything is a-ok. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

Bob - I've always admired your guitar playing, but I'm not sure I've ever let you know. The song is sounding great.

I can empathise with you buddy.  Prayers with you.  I wondered what happened to Bobby.  I did one song with him and liked it.  This one's pretty hot.  Merry Christmas and a heart healthy new year.

    Re:MERRY CHRISTMAS ! 2012/12/26 17:24:19 (permalink)

THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR GET WELL WISHES and comments
The song I worked on for Bobby .

I MADE IT BACK ALIVE !

Hi EVERYONE I made it back alive for real , I had a heart Attack while recovering from the first Stent around noon time in my hospital room .
The day before during the Cathether precenture they found two blocked arteries , the one they Stented was 80% blockage and thats the one they stented . The other one he did not stent because of some reason and which sounded strange to me and had me thinking why he didn't stent that one too .
Anyway he finished up and shortly after I said my chest hurts really bad , the doctor the other people who worked on me said that was normal right after having a stent put in with some people so I thought ok I guess you people know better then me .

After that they wheeled me to my recovery room where I was to stay overnight then be released the next day on Christmas early  .
That never happened , on Christmas eve around 2:00am I started having those bad chest pains again , I thought should I call the head nurse and tell her or just see if it passes . I waited around thiry minutes more to see if it would stop and it didn't so I rang her bell and dcalled her in to ask her if this is normal .
She said no its not normal I better call your doctor now at his home and ask him what we should do , she did and came back and said the doctor wants to do some intensive blood test on you now and some extensive EKG test on you ASP .
They did that and said my test ended up being very high on this blood emzimes , they did another test a few hours later and it showed it was even higher then before which at that point was way too high .
So after all that they monitored me all night and all that morning , shortly after noontime my exwife showed up with our Christmas lunch .
As she was walking in I was lying in bed looking very pale she said , she ask me are you ok you don't look good and I said no I don't feel good I feel really bad .
I manage to get up to eat , I told her I'm not sure how much I can eat . What I really wanted to say was I feel really bad and can't eat but I didn't want to hurt her feelings after cooking all that food she brought over for me on Christmas day .
So I picked up my fork and started to eat a small piece of meat when suddenly my heart started hurting so bad I broke down in tears and was holding my chest and trying to breath .
It was so bad I thought I wasn't going to make it , I thought this it I'm dying . Debbie my exwife ran out to yell for help and it just so happened a heart surgeon was standing in the office area and ran over to check me out  .
It was the same doctor who did open heart four years ago , weird that ever happening again right !
Anyway they started giving me Nitro pills , with Nitro pills they can only give you three and I was already at three so they had to apply this Nitro patch to keep my heart beating .
While that was happening the people who run the Catether room all those people were off for Christmas day with their families .
Those people have to be on call 24 hours a day so they call everyone of them and they rushed down to the hospital to setup the room for another Cath precedure within 40 minutes .
They also called this  women heart Surgeon who was on call and she rushed down to look at my heart from the inside and found two more blocked arteries and stented them .
They were both blocked 90% , she stented those two arteries , after that I was ok and feeling better . So much so I didn't even have chest pain like before when the first Stent was placed inside my heart artery.

I was very lucky all that happened while I was in the hospital and not in a store or while driving my car . I could had been release and walking around WalMart and had a heart Attack and died on the spot .
Because I was in the  hospital it cut my time in half or more , It was a big eye opening experience for me BIG time . I pray I never have to go through that ever again .
I'm going on a strick diet of nothing but heart friendly foods from now on , no more burgers like I have been eating , tons of butter , the wrong frying oils and the list is endless .

Anyway I wanted say right now alive and hopefully I will stay this way but I do have to monitor myself all this month and next month and be very carefull not to over work my heart .
Last thing I want to do is end up back in the hospital of dead , thanks God I'm not dead now .

So thats my Christmas story , Santa gave me three Stents and a life for my Christmas present this year you might say !
Thanks again everyone , I hope all of you had a great Christmas this year !

Chat Later , think I will lay down for a bit and rest ,
    James

Thanks Tom , that day really made me look at life differently for sure . I'm so
greatful to be hear typing out this reply to you right now . Yesterday was a day
death was staring right at me , something I have never experience before in my
life . The doctors told my wife that I was very lucky that day because for one I
was in the hospital at the time it happend plus doing another heart catether
back to back is a big risk factor . he said they don't do that but in this case it had
to be done or he would had maybe died . It was taking the risk to save his life .

For a week I was working on a new electronica song , right now its sounding
very good I think but I'm not going to post it untill its completely finished .
The doctor said I can play my keyboard and work with my music but doing other
chores around the house that require lifting I can't do and start eating right plus
reduce your stress level so thats my goal for now plus those two days in the
hospital I did have some time to think about where I want to move forward in my
life here at home with my wife and with in my own personal life .
I just want to live , I'm not ready to go theres too much I want to do before that
             ever happens for real .
Yesterday on Christmas day was that day that made me really think about life
and living , everyday all of us here are lucky to be creating our own music .

Thanks again for your personal forum support and best wishes for my health , as
soon as I can finished this music I'm working on I'll post it for reviews on the mix .
Right now I like the way I mixed it , I tried out some different things with my mix .

             Thanks -James

    Merry Christmas to you, James!

Best Wishes for a speedy recovery, I'm sure you'll do very well with your medical procedure.  Good thoughts and prayers, my friend!

    Bob

Thanks Bob , for months its been a issue slowing me down with just about
everything in life . Never expected it to sneak up on me so fast like it did
but atlease the worse part is over with the heart Attack and waking up from
it to see another hour & day .
When they rolled me back into that cold room where they work on you I didn't
know what to expect after the door shut , I was either going to live or get
pushed out the rear door to the next cooler room .
My wife went through the whole thing four years ago , at that time I held her
hand all the way to the main entrance and then I had to say good-bye and hope and pray she would be coming back out again alive . Now I know just
how she felt laying there not knowing whats going to happen next , its a pretty scary feeling .

Thanks again Bob , hopefully I'll have something to post in a week or so . I worked on a new electronica song last week a week before the precedure
and tonight I spent some time working on it again , feels great to be able to
work with my music again .

    Take Care Bob - James

Thanks Scotty , everything turned out good at the end . A bit of a scare
that second day with the Heart Attack but atlease it happened in the
hospital where I was there to get fast medical care . Thats a lucky case
of being in the right place at the right time I guess .

That's a pretty scary story. Sounds like a good outcome though.

The drums sound good on the track. Fits the rest of the tune well.

    All the best.

James - as this is a work in progress, let me point out that the low end is in need of taming. It is very noisy. Take a look at the frequencies below 400hz (especially below 125hz or so) with a spectrum analyzer, and look for spikes and transient peaks. Perhaps use a limiter on the kick. I could barely hear the bass, but its tone also needs shaping. Sorry to hear about your health. Best wishes.

Thanks , I'm feeling much better today but still have to monitor myself and
whats going on with my heart . It was scary for sure , my wife told me today
that the doctor who worked on me that day walked in to talk to her after they
fixed my blocked artries that if I had been anywhere else outside this hospital
I would not be alive today , he said it was that bad .
My life was saved he said because of a time factor , I really felt my life slipping
away during that heart attack . I was losing sight of what was going on around me
it was something I'll never forget and something I hope will never happen ever
              again to me .

Thanks , I'll passed that over to Bobby . I just added a drum  track to his song
and then sent it back to him . He did the rest like all the mixing and other stuff .

Thanks I feel better now that I'm at home working with my music again , I have a new electronica song I'm working on but have no plans to post it untill its 100% finished .
Maybe in a few weeks I'll have it posted , I'm about half way through the creative process .
This Heart attack  , being in the hospital slowed me down some but hey I'm
back at it again so I'm happy for that more then anything .

Thanks I'll have Bobby read your comments on the mix and maybe he can fix it .

    Cheers - James

Hi Daryl Happy New Year coming up , hope you and family had a great Christmas
                  this year !
Sorry for the slow reply , I have been trying to get creative with this new song I'm
             working on now .
I think I have gone back and replayed everything almost ten times over trying to
get the sound I'm looking for .
Hopefully if I keep at it it hopefully will be something cool , hopefully it I will have
it posted by the end of this week the first week in 2013 .

             Thanks again - James

There's no song called STOMP on that page as of today. Was it renamed?

    Glad you're back James.

E-mail Bobby and ask why he removed the song I added drums to and for some reason he decided to post it on SoundCloud instead so heres that updated link to STOMP .
