MFSDOTD...Nectar Elements $29...worth it??
Due to the new Nectar Upgrade release I'm sure, MF has Nectar Elements as their Stupid Deal of the Day. Is it worth the $29? What does it lack?

Didn't care for Elements myself but Nectar 2 looks like it has more robust features.
If the upgrade path is right from Elements you might consider it.

Elements is / was vocal presets basically. stripped down preset version of Nectar.
It's nice but very basic.
I think Nectar Elements is discontinued product now that Nectar 2 Standard edition and the Nectar 2 production suite are available.
me personally I am just going to buy Nectar 2 production suite when I get some money.

This looked interesting but if you can't really adjust anything I wouldn't be happy with only presets. Sonar X3 still has the vocal plug in it right? If so you probably already have at least a comparitive product if you own X3 or X2.
I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a sale on full Nectar closer to the holidays.

the only way i an see what the upgrade cost from elements to Nectar 2 is to log in to my account, but I havent purchased element yet.. so who knows if its a good deal as just an upgrade path. WELL TOO LATE SOLD OUT!!!!

well it looks like I am entitled to a juicy academic pricing on Nectar 2 professional so I think I am going to pull the old trigger...

No, you don't need it. But I have a friend who collects clowns, and he doesn't need any of them, either. Doesn't stop him from continually accumulating more of them.

thanks for that update so if I would have purchases the elements @ 29.95 and the update is 179 tats 210 with that path.... I am glad I didnt pull the trigger on the SDOTD I paid way less than that for an Academic version of professional..
