I felt lighter once.  I reversed my polarity and accidentally repulsed the Earth.  I changed back again before I went too far.  I didn't want to go back to Mars just yet.  Anyway, I came back as quickly as I could.  Earth is no longer repulsed, but does feel somewhat disgusted and very ashamed.

Karl is working on the X3 video.

That stuff is a lot of work.

I'm still here. Working on a video, but not X3 sadly. The video I am working on doesn't have colour customisation. It's called "Black & White....... for colour monitors" .........or at least the English version is.

I only create videos that are meant to be played on TV's and monitors that are either broken or turned off.  That way I can just clone the first one and call it a sequel.

Good to hear from one of the lost and found!

I've been chatting regularly with Bub by email, and it would appear that recent events have transpired to make his return extremely unlikely.

I'll let the man himself tell you the story:

=========================================================

Hey everyone.

Thanks for asking about me, and thanks to Steve for bringing the thread to my attention. It means a lot to me to know some of you are still thinking of me.

I was planning on coming back in a few months after taking a break from all the drama, but I couldn't come back now even if I wanted to. I was permanently banned for helping a few people via PM and suggesting they try the demo of other software before replacing hardware to see if that helped resolve any problems. Supposedly more than one of the people I helped complained to Cakewalk ... after they thanked me for my help. Yeah, sounds like B.S. to me too.

[Sarcasm]
Apparently only certain forum members get a free pass to suggest to Sonar users that they try other software, and it has to be in public for millions of people to see, rather than in private to a handful of people that were having legitimate issues running Sonar. Then you won't get banned and you'll be "liked" by Cakewalk.
[/Sarcasm]

So far Studio One 2.5 Professional (Up to 2.5.2 now with the last free update a month or so ago.) has been working flawlessly on the same system that Sonar brought to a crashing halt. So "life over there" is pretty good actually, to answer Ampfixer's question. Wish I would have went "over there" years ago. I do miss some things in Sonar, but I don't have that aggravation factor anymore and I'm actually able to take my 'technician' hat off and put my 'musician' hat on and make music. I have a few new ones I was going to post in the songs forum ... but ...

I hope everyone is doing well, I miss talking with everyone, but unfortunately I can't come back. I apologized profusely to Ryan via email and told him I didn't realize I was doing anything wrong, and I still feel that way, but he said the ban is permanent, so I won't be back. At least they made it so I can read the forums this time. They'll probably change that after seeing this.

Whatever ...

Take care all. As always, feel free to email me.

I can't imagine listing all the ones that I've enjoyed conversing with.
Some of them for many years.
I mentioned the ones that stay in contact with me after leaving.

Those that leave for any reason and don't contact me vanish from more
than these pages. It's a choice they made I'm good with it, wishing them well.

Hi,

I wanted to go missing, but Spacey and others will say that my ego won't allow it!

I could have sworn it I saw it going down the toilet!

I don't know why you're directing whatever it is at me...but for some reason...I just don't give a ****.

No reason ... could have been Bapu, Strummy or Craig just as easily ... "spacey" is a nicer word for my imagery, though, and I like it better. It says a lot about the music I like!

Been five weeks for RBH, two weeks for that "other" Craig as well (and FIVE days for Jan!).  Didn't these people get the memo that it's OK to use the upgraded forum software?

It sometimes takes me five days to log on because my eyes are bad and I can't read the super-secret password.  FYI--I found a way around it.

Hi, boys! Yeah yeah yeah... I'm totally MIA here, and MIA in the Reason forums, too-- summer is like that for me. Most of my time is spent kid-wrangling when they are out of school....

I haven't even posted much on Soundcloud, but I HAVE been working like a maniac. I guess some techno dude in the UK liked what he heard and it seems we have a club EP and an Album in the works. Three songs for the EP are in the can (at least from MY end). It also seems he's been given a sub-label and might sign some of my other songs. So, we'll see where that goes. Another friend who works at a big fashion magazine sent a feeler out yesterday for some music beds. Did two vocals yesterday for some other UK guys, sent out stems for remix requests, etc... and that's how my weeks have been for the most part. So... Busy. Happily so. No, I'm not making any money, but I'm operating under the idea that with enough material, someone might eventually take notice. So, it's gogogogo. And I'm getting a few glances, so maybe it's working.

I'm very thankful to be friends with some of you on Facebook, though-- keeps me somewhat in the loop, even when I disappear.

Yay!  She's back.

Was just listening to your stuff again yesterday actually.  I started with Steve's Backwater song, but his avatar wasn't as inticing as yours so I clicked over and went through most of what you have up ('cause it keeps playing the next song).  Good stuff!  Now I REALLY can't wait until I can start making some similar songs so I can hopefully interest you in singing on some - lol.

I signed up for Facebook once, but the very first thing it told me was "you have no friends". I closed the account in disgust.

But even if I can't be your friend, julibee, I can still be a fan. Someday, when you're famous, I'll be able to say "I know Julianna personally. No, really!  OK, so I met her once over beer and nachos, but she would have autographed my NAMM badge if I'd asked her to."

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Techno is OK (I used to do lighting for underground clubs and met Frankie Bones, Adam X - his brother, Doc Martin and others), but I love Trance!  Especially melodic, vocal trance or Goa.
