MIDI CC filter

Is there a way to filter a given MIDI controller out of the data sent by playing a MIDI keyboard into Sonar?

I just started using my old Roland D-50 to play parts into sonar and found I can't get a sustain pedal (that works eleswhere) to work.

I vaguely recall that the D-50 sends an "all notes off" controller when you release a key, and this might be the answer, if I can keep it from getting into my tracks.

Any Ideas?

There are 2 plugs at the back that you can use the control switch for.  The 1st one(on the left) is for toggling through patch changes etc, the second one is the one you would use if you want it to act as a sustain pedal.

above from the D-50 manual that you can view at ftp://ftp.roland.co.uk/pr...0/01_D-50_OM_BASIC.pdf

You could try inserting the MIDI event filter effect on all your D50 tracks. Then set the filter to accept every event except controller 123. For "all except 123" you would set the top CC# to 122 and the bottom to 124, I think.
