MIDI Controller Not Working Sonar Platinum

I have my old Roland JW-50 hooked up through my M-Audio Delta 1010lt soundcard. For some reason I cannot get it to work unless I fiddle with something in the inputs and outputs sections of Sonar Platinum. I can't remember what it was though that I clicked. I know this sounds incredibly dumb, but I'm trying to learn this stuff. I once used a demo of an older Sonar product (I know it was one of the X's, but I couldn't afford to buy it, the monthly plan has been a godsend for me!) and I got sound through the controller without touching anything. Any help will be appreciated. Thank You!

    Thanks ! It was the "Echo" button that needed to be turned on.
