MIDI DAW control

Can anyone help? Using Sonar Platignum running on Windows 10 in Bootcamp on an iMac and would like to control the mixer through MIDI from a Yamaha 01V. I haven't been able to get the DAW to recognise the MIDI input from the 01V so unable to control the mixer parameters. I would need to know how to set the mixer and Sonar to control the DAW. Thanks

    Hi TJ,

I am working towards a similar end goal right now (Different version of Sonar and OS, but same net result).  @azslow3 has written a Control Surface Plugin that will do the job and we're heading towards a preset for the 01V. In only a couple of days he has already got the 01V controlling Sonar's track fader and he has uploaded a test preset to test how sonar should control the 01V fader motors.  I only saw it after I got to work this morning (non-audio related) so will have to wait until I get home to try it.

and this thread http://www.azslow.com/index.php/topic,322.0.html for the progress being made on the AZ Controller 01V (Local Off) preset.

    I hope this helps.
