MIDI Instrument Suddenly Out of Sync

In addition to the VIs, I have three MIDI modules/keyboards connected via an M-Audio x4 interface: a Roland JV-1080, a Kurzweil PC2R, and a Yamaha Tyros 2.

The Tyros 2 on Port C is suddenly way out of sync: nearly a 32nd note behind everything else (12 ticks out of 120ppq).  This was not a problem before.  What could have happened?

So all of the synths are connected by MIDI DIN ports, and none by USB?

I would start swapping MIDI and audio cables to determine whether it's a MIDI transmission delay, a synth response delay, or an audio latency compensation problem.

Right offhand I can't think of anything that would cause that bad a latency problem for one synth other than a hardware/driver failure of some sort or a project-specific issue maybe involving a plug-in that uses PDC, or a specific patch in the Tyros.

Can you reproduce the problem in a fresh project with no FX? And does it affect all patches on the Tyros?
