MIDI Loop Explorer Preview Issue

When previewing midi loops in the Loop Explorer (groove monkee - if that matters) the files play with a definate latency that pretty much makes the preview useless. When I load them into the Clip View all is well. Are there any settings I may change to get ride of the delay? How, else can I preview the loops without loading everyone of them?

I'm using Toshiba laptop, i3 processor, running Windows 7. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

are you using the laptop's sound card?  If so, that is the likely source of the latency. You can move the latency slider and see if that solves the issue. Usually, the solution is a dedicated music specific external interface (sound card).
