Can that be done? Why would you want to do it? Maybe there are alternate methods of accomplishing the same goal.

I want to add a squeaky pedal sound layered on my kick drum from Addictive Drums.

My idea is to load one of the NI Grand Pianos and have it triggered by my sustain pedal which results in only hearing the sustain pedal noise from the Kontakt library.

Next, copy all my kick midi notes and convert them to sustain pedal down cc thereby triggering the sustain pedal down sound, copy all my kick midi notes slide them a few ticks forward and convert them to sustain pedal up cc thereby triggering the sustain pedal up sound.

If the NI Grand Pianos weren't encrypted into a .nkx file, I could just create a Kontakt patch triggering a sample using a midi note but alas, I can't!

Now if you can tell me where to find a squeaky kick drum pedal sample, well, that's even better!

Midi note to a control change ? Hmm. Don't know why you would do that, but you can change the event to a cc in the event list.

    Best,

One at a time? Any way to streamline that?

You must have posted the long post above as I was posting. Tha'ts a different one. So the squeaky pedal requires a control change, yes ?

Maybe this program can do that.

You can have a CAL script do that for you, unless you need it done in realtime.

If in realtime a Midi Fx from here might do it for you:
    http://www.tencrazy.com/gadgets/mfx/

    He often takes suggestions otherwise.

If he has not remade his plugins in x64 and you need forward it to him.

Man, I spend all night  trying to eq it out then you want it back? This is a strange world we live in. :) I'll send you my drum pedal... Have you tried sampling a squeaky sound, like any thing squeaky would do. I successfully  sampled my drums and I can play them with session drummer so you might try that.

These are great for low cost squeaks..

How do you convert a midi note to cc?

For a software solution, do a search for 'MIDI munge'.  In hardware, the MIDI Solutions Event Processor is one versatile solution.  From the first MIDI note data byte, it's a simple 1:1 conversion to a CC value.  The second data byte (velocity) will need to be dropped [no matching data byte in a CC message].
