MIDI PRV - Controller Pane: why ALL MIDI commands shown ?

When I open the PRV, the controller pane at the bottom shows a lane for 15 types of MIDI controller, which I then have to laboriously close from view by clicking the '-' symbol on the left of each lane.  And I have to do this every time I go to edit another, or the same track!  Why do all these appear?  Does the program set these up according to all the types of MIDI command it finds in the file on all tracks?  I can't find a way to suppress the ones I don't want.

Try unlocking whatever screenset you're in, make your edits then lock the screenset again.

That doesn't seem to help.  If I click 'D' to expand/collapse the PRV it's ok, but if I close the PRV a new one has all the lanes and again I have to de-clutter by '-' leaving only the ones I want (usually Velocity and Expression).  I don't remember this difficulty in any earlier versions.  The behaviour used to be 'if you need to see more lanes you must open them'.  A default of having the lot there is daft.

    Hi Skyline !

I'm having the same problem ... really this is painful to work on the piano roll in this situation,

I hope cake is watching, and can/will provide a solution !
