MIDI Patch Auditions

Am I missing something here?.....Is there a way in X1 Producer to choose a bank on your external keyboard (For me its Korg Kronos and Korg Trinity) Then open the patch menu and leave it open and use some way to high lite the patch and hear it without closing the patch list?....I want to be able to simply flip through the patches quickly until I find the one I'm looking for without having to open the patch list every time I want to audition a new sound...is this possible?...am i missing something or is it right in front of my face?....I have editors...but I want to be able to do this directly in Sonar...

Are you talking about audition the sounds that are IN your keyboard? If so I'd imagine you'd have to have specific software for your keyboard to do something like that. Check the Korg forums (not official forums but Korg recognizes them)

Then check the Korg support site for any tools, manuals, software, drivers for your keyboard.

Pardon me if this sounds flip, but wouldn't you do that directly on the synth?

Yeah... I'm a little confused myself. Clarification?
