MIDI Track Record Arm Grayed Out

On my new install of Sonar X1 Pro, I can't arm midi tracks to record.  Audio tracks are just fine.  Help on that?

    All Omni Inputs...

    I restarted Sonar and it went back to working...now it's stopped again...hmmm.

    I had some tracks using the same VI soloed, turning that off seems to have fixed it.
