MIDI Workshop in San Francisco this Saturday!

If you're a composer or songwriter that wants to understand what your digital audio workstation (DAW) is capable of, this is the event for you. Composer and music producer Jerry Gerber will be presenting a four-hour workshop on Saturday, May 18th in San Francisco at the Center for New Music. This workshop is not platform-specific, the concepts and techniques you'll learn will apply to any modern DAW.

    Hi,

I wish someone could show my how to use my MIDI board, instead of just having it play the keys ... just seems like all the knobs and buttons and sliders are such a waste.

The only software I have been able to set them up on is on the Jupiter 8 software and that is neat ... and fun! But hardly what a MIDI keyboard can do I bet! I still can not use it properly with IKT's Philharmonic, which still is the single most frustrating thing I have ever dealt with in the world of software, and their folks won't help and even those here that use it are not capable of helping ... and I have already said many times I would pay for it!

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!
