MIDI event/note chase and Zero Controllers options

Just trying to understand the behavior with these options and didn't see this described explicitly in the help files, but experimenting it seems as if:

1.With Zero Controllers When Playback Stops disabled, MIDI event/note chase will find notes and events when starting playback after a "Stop" command, but NOT after a "Pause" command.

2. With Zero Controllers When Playback Stops enabled, MIDI event/note chase will find notes and events when starting playback after a "Stop" command AND after a "Pause" command.

Just wondering if this is the expected behavior. With certain VST plugins like Maschine 2 I have to disable Zero Controllers or they receive erroneous pitch bend messages.
